Maintenance Policy
The West Bengal Government owns the institution completely. One of the main sources for purchasing and enhancing academic materials like books, journals, laboratory equipment, and library resources is the Development grants from government. After receiving the Development Grants, the Purchase Committee calls a meeting and the amounts are divided as fairly and/or as necessary as is reasonably possible. Quotations are invited from the vendors against the published tender. According to regulations of the Government, the advertising are released. The following are the procedures that the college follows for utilizing and maintaining its physical, academic, and support facilities:
- The Public Works Department (PWD), a government agency of Government of West Bengal mainly does the necessary maintenance work.
- To ensure hygienic conditions and cleanliness, the college has hired internal personnel.
- Problems with the computers are brought to the attention to the office stuff, assigned for reporting problems related to computer and internet infrastructure.
- The Head of Departments regularly reports to the college's administrative office on the need for repair and maintenance work. In accordance with the Officer-in-Charge, the office coordinates these matters with the West Bengal government's Public Works Department.
