Banarhat Kartik Oraon Hindi Government College is one of the foremost educational institutions in the locality of Banarhat in Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal, and as a part of the College, the Department of Political Science is always dedicated to excellence in teaching and service. The Department encourages students to have a solid foundation of discipline and genuine interests at the local, regional, national, and international levels. With strength of two (3) faculty members at present, the Department offers the subject at an Honours level of learning under FYUGP system of the education system. The department follows the policies adopted by the University of North Bengal regarding the holding of examinations and publication of results.
